THIS IS A STORY OF DESTINY.
You see, destiny always has a way of turning you onto the right path. Since I always wanted to be an artist, destiny cleared my path by guiding me back into the arts. So, trust your destiny and what it has planned for you.
Miss T is a prairie girl at heart, growing up a farmer’s daughter on 800 acres of big sky, horses, cows, animals, and grain. She and her sisters had a whimsical childhood. They loved performing skits, being silly, and entertaining themselves with arts and comedy in their “little house on the prairie”.
Miss T was a passionate painter and considered a career as an artist or in the medical field.
But since she had high grades, she chose university to become a doctor.
Yes! This performer was going to be a doctor.
In 1997, she left the farm to pursue a career as a Naturopath. However, in 1999, herbal medicine regulatory boards cancelled the program,
preventing her from earning her diploma—so she became a PSW. Miss T, the Bubble Queen, began bubbling in 2002, following a successful career as a PSW with Ontario March of Dimes. While working in the outreach department with special needs clients, she connected so well—earning their trust and affection—that she was asked to perform at their holiday party. She agreed and tried a magic show. It flopped—but turned into a hilarious, clumsy comedy show. The audience laughed hysterically at her mishaps and called her the funniest, clumsiest magician.
They loved it—and her. Surprisingly, she was asked to return the next year. Yikes! Wanting to say no, she agreed—but not as a magician. She promised to come up with something new. While researching new ideas, she realized that unique entertainment options were very limited. She wanted something artistic, magical, and truly unique.
That summer, she had her “bubble epiphany” after seeing a man making
giant bubbles on a beach in France.
That was it—Bubbles!. Bubbling quickly became a passionate obsession.
She spent the next year preparing—learning tricks, creating tools, and experimenting with bubble mixes.
That winter, she performed her first bubble show—and it was a hit. She was hooked.
At the time, there were only a few bubbleologists worldwide, so it was tough to learn. She dove into constant training, equipment design, and recipe testing to master the magical liquid that makes it all work. Even her ropes and wands required research and crafting. By 2003, she knew this was her calling.
She created The Bubbleology Show to share in the magic of bubbles with the world.
As Canada’s only bubbleologist at the time and for many years, she gained national attention, TV appearances, and widespread demand for her show.
She has appeared on Canada’s Got Talent 2 times, YTV Zoink’d, CTV, Treehouse TV, TVO Kids’ The Giver, City TV, Breakfast Television. Interviews on CBC TV, CHCH News, regarding what I do and who I am. Even Radio Canada for French audiences and more.
Her bubbles even starred in musical artist “Grimes” and her Juno Award-winning video “Venus Fly,” which led to a Pitchfork Magazine feature interview titled “An Interview with the Bubbleologist Behind Grimes’ Venus Fly.”
She’s shared the stage with celebrities and events including YTV’s Beach Bash with Nick Cannon, pre-show entertainment for The Wiggles, Splash & Boots, Fred Penner, Four Weddings, and Bikini Village’s fashion show. She’s created special effects for TV and film.
Her performances have wowed audiences at The Ontario Science Centre, Jr. Jays Days at the Sky Dome, Storybook Gardens, Parliament Hill Canada Day, St John Exhibition, Centerville, Monster Bash, and even contributed to engineering families on bubbles at Perimeter Institute.
She’s also been commissioned for private shows by Canada’s most prominent families and top companies.
Miss T is Canada’s most sought-after and creative Bubbleologist. For over 20 years, she has mastered the art, magic, science, and wonder of bubbles.
